As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will manage and coordinate engineering and technical aspects of a project, ensuring it meets deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. You will be the primary point‑of‑contact to customers and report progress on a regular cadence.
Responsibilities- Project Planning and Design:
Assisting in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates. - Resource Management:
Coordinating and allocating resources such as materials, equipment, and personnel. - Technical Oversight:
Ensuring the project adheres to engineering principles and product assurance requirements. - Communication and
Collaboration:
Working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership. - Risk Management:
Identifying potential issues and developing solutions to mitigate risks. - Project Monitoring and Reporting:
Tracking progress, managing budgets, and reporting on project status. - Change Management:
Managing and tracking project change orders. - Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation.
- BS in an engineering discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in product design, manufacturing, and/or sustaining engineering for aerospace or defense.
- Demonstrated aptitude in leading cross‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Solid technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
