The Electrical Power Systems Engineer willbe responsible for designing, analyzing,testing and integrating power systems for complex space missions. The ideal candidate will bring innovative engineering solutions to the challenges presented by True Anomaly unique missions.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and analyze electrical power systems (EPS) for spacecraft, including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution units
- Performmodeling,simulation and on-orbit analysis for power generation and storage
- Create and review technical documentation, including specifications,interface control drawings,test procedures,anddesignreviews
- Conduct system design trades balancingsystem performance,technical risk,costand schedule
- Perform radiation and reliability analistosth clearly communicate system risks andidentifyfuture design improvements
- Develop failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for critical electrical systems
- Develop electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) for performing power system testing and hardware in the loop (HIL)
- Support environmental testing campaigns including EMI/EMC, thermal vacuum, and vibration testing
- Develop electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) for system testing and validation
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure integrated system functionality
- Minimum of 2years ofelectricalorspacesystems engineering
- Understanding of spacecraft power system designand analysis
- Understanding of spacecraft subsystems
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience deploying systems in GEO
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance

Your actual level and base salary will bedeterminedon a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills,education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Work Location : this role will be fully onsite at our Gravity Works factory in Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA
- Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
- Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
