This role sits at the center of SSD system design and verification, playing a critical part in delivering reliable, high-performing products.
Key Responsibilities include:- Debug and resolve complex issues across firmware, hardware, and system domains
- Perform performance, power, thermal, and reliability characterization
- Ensure products meet defined performance, reliability, and compliance requirements
- Develop and apply test and characterization methodologies
- Support DFMEA and design review activities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing and customer teams
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of PCIe and NVMe protocols and system behavior
- Knowledge of SSD architecture including FTL, NAND management, and controller interaction
- Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and debug platforms
- Demonstrated use of AI Assisted tools for debugging, automation, or technical analysis!
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with SSD development, firmware interaction, or system validation
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Experience with power and thermal characterization techniques
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Work Location Requirement;
This role is full-time onsite and based in Longmont, Colorado. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not supported for this position
