A little information about us : BBA Water Consultants, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in water rights, water resources planning , and ground and surface water hydrology. Located in Englewood, CO, with a branch office in Salida, CO . BBA provides services to clients in the Western United States, mostly , but not exclusively, within the State of Colorado. BBA’s clients include a variety of public and private entities , including municipalities, ranchers, ski resorts, local and federal government, and others.

We are seeking applications for a full-time position as a water resources engineer or hydrologist from applicants with the following skills and qualifications :

BS and/ or MS in civil or agricultural engineering, hydrology, or water resources.

Zero to Five years of experience in Colorado water rights and/or other areas of water resources .

Strong written and verbal communication skills .

Confident and s elf-motivated with strong time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel . Pr ogramming experience is a plus.

Experience related to Colorado water rights administration , Colorado water law , and historical use analyses preferred .

Familiarity with GIS , geology, and well drilling is a plus.

Registration as a PE or registration as an EI with plans to pursue licensure as a professional engineer. For hydrologists, PH certification or plans to pursue certification.

BBA staff mostly work in the office , with some vir tual work flexibility . BBA provides its staff a robust suite of in-office and remote access and communication tools for data access and teamwork.
