Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers across multiple channels— in‑person, by appointment, and virtually—while adopting a digital‑first mindset.
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing account information and providing education on deposit and loan products.
  • Proactively reach out to clients, ask questions to learn about their financial goals and banking channel preferences, and follow up accordingly.
  • Identify and recommend solutions that meet each customer’s unique goals, leveraging the full suite of retail banking products and services.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with branch team members and partners to deliver an optimal client experience and operational excellence.
  • Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret and adhere to the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration requirements under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation

    Z.
Qualifications – Basic
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically a minimum of four‑to‑five years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (business‑level reading, writing, and speaking).

  • Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Strong engagement and communication skills with clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • In‑depth knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience participating in sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Proficiency with digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Strong aptitude for identifying and addressing a customer’s true needs with a digital‑first mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet both reactive and proactive customer needs.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
