Senior Analyst

• Lead end-to-end credit analysis and surveillance for assigned credits
• Synthesize portfolio performance, market signals, and peer context into decision-ready insights
• Embed generative AI and large language model tools into workflows while maintaining human accountability
• Guide and coach junior analysts in credit analysis, data discipline, and analytical tooling
• Contribute to automation initiatives
• Translate complex data and analysis into clear, evidence-based narratives for clients and senior stakeholders
• Build trusted relationships through credible, collaborative engagement
• Apply methodology, confidentiality, and data governance requirements consistently
• Escalate issues early
• Contribute to the responsible design of automation and AI-enabled workflows

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis
• Strong credit, financial, and risk analysis skills
• Practical experience embedding generative AI or large language model tools into professional workflows
• Proficiency in analytical and spreadsheet tools
• Willingness to develop skills in data and automation platforms
• Ability to deliver high-quality work across multiple credits with limited oversight
• Ability to coach junior colleagues
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
  
  Ability to synthesize complex analytical content into concise, evidence-based narratives
• High standards for quality, traceability, and governance
• Sound judgment on the responsible use of AI tools in a controlled environment
• Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week
• Final-stage candidates must attend at least one in-person interview at their nearest S&P Global Ratings office
