Hairstylist

Role Description

This is a part-time/full time , on-site Hairstylist role located in Loveland, CO. The Hairstylist will provide age-appropriate haircuts and basic styling services for children, ensuring a positive, calm, and engaging experience for both children and their caregivers. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming guests, consulting with caregivers about haircut preferences, performing haircuts and simple styles, offering guidance on basic hair care, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation.

The role also involves managing appointment flow, supporting front desk staff as needed, following salon safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to a friendly, inclusive team environment.

• Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills appropriate for children's haircuts and simple styles.
• Candidates should possess Cosmetology training and hold a current state cosmetology or barber license (or be eligible for licensure in Colorado).
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with children and caregivers.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and follow safety protocols.
• Candidates should possess reliability in attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work part-time, including peak hours such as evenings and weekends.
• Candidates should possess a patient, friendly demeanor, comfort working with children of diverse ages and needs, and a commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive service.
• Experience in children's salons or family-focused retail environments is beneficial but not required.
