Connected Health Care is seeking a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a high‑paying, 13‑week local travel contract in a critical access or community hospital setting. Competitive weekly compensation is up to $2,360, based on experience.

• Perform moderate to high‑complexity laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and urinalysis.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory test results with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding lab results.
• Maintain proper documentation within the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Current ASCP (MLS or MT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong generalist background highly preferred.
