Responsibilities
Responsible for providing monitoring, triage, and repair of both voice and data applications in a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC). This includes tiered technical support and trouble isolation for a wide range of company products and services such as voice and data platforms, basic hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. Ensures adherence to established departmental and corporate and governmental policies and procedures.
Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves issues affecting customer-facing production systems, including network devices, voice platforms, and network connectivity. Provides corrective actions for network problems and ensures reliable connectivity to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). Maintains operational integrity and service continuity across all supported platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring and troubleshooting voice platform and network devices
- Isolate and repair basic routing, translations, and circuit related issues on VoIP, SIP and IP based networks
- Coordinate emergency traffic reroutes to mitigate call failures
- Respond to network alarms with corrective actions
- Partner with both internal and external parties to resolve ticket issues
- Willingness to work a 4x10 shift and cover others shifts as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma required, however an Associate's Degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, MIS, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field preferred
- SIP training, CCNA and A+ CompTIA certifications highly preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience with:
- Command Line Operating Systems
- BGP, routing protocols, and VPN tunnels
- Unix, Windows Operating Systems, Secure
CRT or other Node Managers
- Preferred knowledge includes:
- CODEC technologies (e.g., G711, G729)
- Datacenter and Cisco networking
- Application Service Provider (ASP) environments
- SONUS troubleshooting experience
- Programming languages
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, telephony, Network Operations Center, or a similar work environment required
- General understanding of the OSI model
- Ability to navigate Cisco CLI
- Signaling protocols (e.g., ISDN, SS7, SIP, CAS)
- CDR and call trace experience
- Circuit or soft-switch administration, maintenance, or provisioning
- TCP/IP, IP networks, VoIP, and call routing in WAN/LAN environments
- PC/server and network hardware
- Windows-based platforms
- Unix systems
- DNS Administration, SSH, NFS, Apache
- Ability to work out of our Longmont, CO Office
- Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 12pm – 10:30pm

The starting salary is anticipated to begin at $31.25 an hour and will be commensurate with experience.
