The Technical Customer Management (TCM) team works across engineering, product management, business operations, sales, and customer-facing organizations to support product qualifications, improve operational execution, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The CDBU Technical Customer Management Intern will support initiatives focused on improving business processes, operational efficiency, and customer qualification execution through Artificial Intelligence, analytics, automation, and digital technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work with Technical Customer Managers and multi-functional collaborators to develop scalable solutions.
It also aims to improve access to qualification programs and promote adoption of standard methodologies across the global organization. The intern will gain hands-on experience applying AI-Assisted methodologies to real-world business challenges while delivering measurable business impact.
- Analyze Technical Customer Management workflows and find opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, decision-making, and execution through AI-Enabled solutions, analytics, and automation.
- Develop and support pilot implementations of Artificial Intelligence, automation, reporting, and digital tools that enhance customer qualification execution, milestone tracking, risk management, and operational effectiveness.
- Build dashboards, reports, and business insights that provide access to customer qualification schedules, risks, operational metrics, and key business priorities.
- Collaborate with Technical Customer Managers and multi-functional collaborators to streamline processes, improve information flow, and accelerate data-driven business decisions using AI-Assisted methodologies.
- Measure, communicate, and document business impact through operational metrics, adoption tracking, executive reporting, reusable workflows, training materials, and established guidelines.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data and developing actionable recommendations.
- Experience with reporting, data analysis, process improvement, automation, or operational excellence initiatives through academic, internship, or project work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with AI, Artificial Intelligence, or AI-Assisted tools used for business analysis, process optimization, reporting, or productivity improvements.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Microsoft Copilot, or similar analytics and automation tools.
- Knowledge of dashboard development, business intelligence reporting, operational metrics, or workflow optimization.
- Exposure to customer qualification, product enablement, program management, or technology-focused business operations.
- Experience Applying AI or Leveraging AI to improve efficiency, automate workflows, generate insights, or support business decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed stakeholders.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $38.50 - $65.00 an hour. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
