Position: CNC Programmer/Machinist I
Vitesse Systems is looking for a Machinist I to join the team in Longmont, Colorado! The Machinist I is responsible for programming and manufacturing our high precision antenna feeds.

The Role

The primary responsibility of the Machinist I is to program and manufacture our high precision antenna feeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines according to internal policies and technical documentation using Master Cam under general supervision.
• Set-up and run CNC machines under general supervision.
• Operate manual machines as needed under general supervision.
• Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, GD&T, drawing, and specifications.
• Understand and adhere to quality and safety standards and company procedures.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of machining experience
  • Related education or certifications will be considered in lieu of industry experience
• Ability to hold tight tolerances
• Strong communication skills
• Strong math skills
• Working knowledge of work rules and safety guidelines
• Proficiency with GD&T
• Proficiency reading blueprints
• Experience using Mastercam software is a plus
