Job Description Summary
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Assembler to support the assembly and wiring of custom control systems. This role includes assembly operations, wiring operations, and dynamic re‑work based on customer needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing components such as power supplies, filters, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers, as well as performing wiring tasks including crimping, stripping, connecting, terminating, and labeling.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Read and understand electrical drawings and procedures.
- Perform electrical assembly activities, including stripping, crimping, terminating, labeling, and routing wire.
- Assemble small and large assemblies with components such as power supplies, IO packs, module boards, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and related hardware according to drawings and blueprints.
- Interface with manager or department lead to provide progress updates as required.
- Apply 5S rules to maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow safety requirements, EHS guidelines, and current company policies to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work 1st Shift (7am‑3:30pm) / flexible start.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous work experience in the electrical field.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Willingness and ability to work various shifts and overtime on short notice to meet business needs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work on elevated platforms.
- Ability to efficiently operate hand tools.
- Ability to mount components, pull wire, and terminate wire.
- Experience reading drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Independent, energetic self‑starter.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other departments, including quality and customer representatives.
The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.40 - $23.90 per hour. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
