Advanced Machining is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator with setup experience to support production on our Tsugami, DMG Mori, and other CNC turning centers. This position is a good fit for someone who can work independently, perform setups, make adjustments, and troubleshoot machining issues in a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes, including Tsugami, DMG Mori, and similar turning centers
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments as needed
- Run production efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions
- Inspect parts and verify conformance to customer requirements
- Troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, and machining issues
- Maintain tight tolerances and make necessary adjustments during production
- Support continuous improvement, process optimization, and cycle time reduction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- CNC lathe setup and operation experience required
- Experience with Tsugami or DMG Mori machines preferred
- Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
- Ability to read prints and use precision measuring equipment
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and maintain consistent part quality
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Mastercam programming experience is a plus
- Pay: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

- Schedule:
M-Th 7:00am-4:30pm, F 7:00-11:00 am. - Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
