Position SummaryWe are looking for a CNC machinist to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating 4-axis and 5-axis mills. Specifically, you will be operating an FMC system with several Okuma milling centers.
Requirements- Ability to comprehend and follow blueprints and computer-screen instructions within our proprietary software
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Have a willingness to provide feedback for continuous improvement solutions
- Prior experience operating Okuma CNC mills
- Familiarity with Fastems FPC technology or comparable automated machining technologies
- Working knowledge of operation for 4-axis and 5-axis mills
- General knowledge of CNC machining production and inspection
- Adhere to the company’s safety guidelines and policies
- Interpret engineering drawings for inspection requirements
- Manually inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Working with and interpreting CMM inspections
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Machine Setups for Production Runs

- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss)

- Quality Control Software (1
