CNC Machinist – $30-$40/hr

Our client, a precision machine shop, is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining centers and produce precision components to tight tolerances. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, program sheets, and process instructions
• Set up and operate CNC machining centers (milling, drilling, boring, turning, threading, etc.)
• Select and install tooling; load and edit programs at the machine control
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot malfunctions or worn tooling
• Inspect and gauge parts to ensure conformance to specifications
• Adjust feeds/speeds and correct out-of-tolerance conditions
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of CNC machining experience
• Strong blueprint reading and technical document skills
• Ability to run complex, multi-operation setups to close tolerances
• Comfortable troubleshooting programs and machine issues independently
• Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office a plus)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
• Machine shop setting with standard noise, coolant, and oils
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
