PositionThe UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Internal Medicine Clinic in Longmont, CO are ready to welcome a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their new team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full‑time, and focused on excellent patient care. This full‑time position supports a work‑life balance. We are not hiring visa candidates. This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive internal‑medicine patient care using EPIC EMR system.
- Deliver high‑quality patient care focused on patient well‑being.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements For Physician Assistants
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA‑C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
- Eligibility to provide services, reimbursable services, and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
- Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
- Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging process.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Requirements For Nurse Practitioners
- Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility is required.
- Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all commonly prescribed medications.
- Eligibility to provide services, reimbursable services, and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
- Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Pay range: $110,577 – $144,966 annually, dependent on relevant experience.
- Annual Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) up to $10,000.
- Relocation bonus up to $10,000 if eligible.
- Paid malpractice coverage.
- Continuing medical education (CME) up to $3,500 and up to 5 days annually.
