Bio Life Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supports plasma center operations and works under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician.
About the RoleEvery day you will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will also support vaccination programs, manage employee incidents, and, when authorized, serve as Pandemic Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and ascertain further evaluation requirements.
- Coordinate investigations for pandemic threats when authorized by EHS and Medical Affairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate with state requirements.
- Licensed or certified in the assigned state: LPN or LVN.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- State licensure requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- At least two years clinical or hospital experience.

CompensationU.S. Hourly Wage Range: $28.16 – $38.72 (based on qualifications, experience, and location).
