Job Overview
Position:
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift) – Full Time
Location:
UCHealth UCHlth Longs Peak Hospital, Longmont, CO
Shift: Night – 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour (dependent on experience). Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year).
Minimum Requirements- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program with less than 3 years’ experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of RN experience.
- TNCC or ATCN, ENPC or PALS required within 1 year of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN).
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
- PALS Certification.
- BLS – BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
- Provides top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective and evidence‑based practice.
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including Level 1 trauma designation.
- BCEN’s certification standards are included in evidence‑based care models.
