LDRP RN – Travel Assignment
Shift Details
- Night Shift
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- 6–9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- Holiday rotation may be required
- Rare call requirement for low census situations

RequirementsRequirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- At least 1 year of recent LDRP experience within the last 3 years
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- NRP Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification (or C-EFM)
- Must have triage experience
- Must be comfortable caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
- Must be comfortable circulating and recovering C-sections
- Experience titrating Pitocin and Magnesium drips
- Prior travel experience preferred
Unit Information
- 12-bed LDRP unit
- 1 dedicated C-section room
- Approximately 300 births annually
- AWHONN staffing ratios followed
- 1:1 for labor patients
- 1:2–3 for couplets
Responsibilities
- Provide care throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum continuum
- Perform patient assessments and triage
- Circulate and recover C-section patients
- Monitor fetal well-being and maternal status
- Administer and titrate labor-related medications
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
