Job Overview

Position: RN – Cath Lab at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, Longmont, CO. Provide direct patient care in a cath lab setting, performing patient preparation, procedure support, and post‑procedure recovery in coronary and EP procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday–Friday 10‑hour shifts. Call requirements of 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend. Will rotate up to MCR for some orientation.

Location: UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, Longmont, CO.

Department: LPH Cath Lab.

Pay: $38.91–$60.31 per hour, dependent on experience.

Onsite role; hybrid or remote option not available.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre‑procedure functions, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing the patient’s medical record to ensure safety checklists are complete.
  • Respond to life‑threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
  • Handle critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.
  • Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide age‑appropriate education.
  • Exercise critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing‑approved program and state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certificate.
  • Six months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; card valid through sixty days of hire.
  • Fluoroscopy operator license through CDPHE and RCIS/RCES within 2 years (if working in scrub role).
