Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and related manufacturing and test process outputs for product and contractual compliance. Verify supplier compliance with all purchase order requirements, specifications and/or drawing requirements.
  • Maintain part data in the ERP system for traceability, including inspection reports, COC, traceability information, and test reports.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality assurance record retention.
  • Support build activities by ensuring all processes and products meet our rigorous quality standards.
  • Perform quality review of work orders, ensuring all details are accurate and meet the established guidelines.
  • Manage part labeling activities, ensuring all parts are correctly identified and labeled.
  • Manage the calibrated equipment library, ensuring all equipment is correctly logged and maintained.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role or similar position within the aerospace or space industry.
  • Inspection experience with calibrated equipment, examples: calipers, micrometers, gauge pins and mechanical inspection devices.
  • Proven experience with maintaining part data in an ERP system for traceability.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
