Quality Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

We're seeking a hands-on Quality Manager who can lead a small quality team while remaining actively involved in inspection activities, quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a Quality Engineer, Lead Inspector, or Quality Supervisor looking to step into a broader leadership position with significant growth potential.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily quality operations across a precision aerospace machine shop
• Manage and mentor a team of inspectors
• Own AS9100D quality system compliance and audit readiness
• Conduct and oversee internal and external audits
• Drive corrective actions, root cause analysis, and nonconformance management
• Support CMM inspection and programming activities
• Develop inspection plans and quality procedures
• Partner closely with engineering, production, and operations teams
• Maintain quality documentation, traceability, and compliance records

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of aerospace or precision machining quality experience
• Experience with AS9100D quality systems
• CMM experience (programming preferred)
• Strong GD&T knowledge
• Experience leading projects, processes, or people
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Desire to grow within a rapidly expanding organization
