Position: Quality Control Inspector - Aerospace Manufacturing JN -062026-177298

Job Overview

Join a growing aerospace machine shop specializing in high‑mix, low‑volume precision components for aerospace, space, and advanced manufacturing customers. This position is ideal for an experienced Quality Inspector who enjoys technical challenges, variety, and hands‑on inspection work. Every project is different, offering opportunities to program, inspect, problem‑solve, and collaborate with machinists and engineers.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform receiving, in‑process, and final inspections
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Create and execute inspection plans
  • Perform First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Document inspection results and nonconformances
  • Support AS9100D quality compliance
  • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams
  • Use precision metrology equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or precision machining
  • CMM programming experience preferred
  • Experience with Calypso, PC‑DMIS, CMM Manager, or similar software
  • Strong GD&T knowledge
  • Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities
  • CNC machining experience is a major plus

Compensation: $33‑$42/hour depending on experience, $66,560 - $87,360 annually.
