Job Summary
Provides advanced inside sales and customer support by managing customer inquiries, sales orders, and fulfillment activities. Serves as a primary internal point of contact for customers, ensuring accurate order processing, timely issue resolution, and consistent service delivery. Applies strong product knowledge and process expertise to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Collaborates closely with outside sales representatives, branch leadership, and internal support teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manages customer interactions throughout the order lifecycle, including inquiries, quoting, order processing, fulfillment, and issue resolution.
- Creates and maintains accurate sales quotes, sales orders, invoices, and rental or re-rental contracts in accordance with established standards.
- Coordinates purchasing activities for inventory, drop-ship items, re-rented equipment, and site services in alignment with procurement guidelines.
- Supports inventory, equipment, and receiving activities by maintaining accurate records, following inventory control procedures, and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborates with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Leverages product and equipment knowledge to support customer decision-making and resolve service-related issues.
- Prioritises daily tasks and manages time effectively to consistently meet service standards.
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience3-5 years of related experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales operations required. 2-4 years of experience in construction supplies, equipment industry, or a related field preferred.
