About the Role:
The Treatment plant Pipefitter will be assisting other skilled trade workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various piping systems. Located in Parshall, near Silverthorn, CO.
As a Treatment plant Pipefitter at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:
- Perform any combination of the following tasks i nstall process pipe, valves & fittings including ductile iron, PVC, steel and HDPE, i nstall complex process equipment, install complex process equipment, grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints .
- Participate in system testing, startup and commissioning.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always
- Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements needed for working in and around pipe trenches
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Must be capable of lifting heavy objects, shoveling, and grading pipe trenches
Qualifications &
Experience:
- 2-3 years of construction experience preferred
- Ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, maintenance, and the ability to determine the appropriate tool needed to do the job
- Good communication skills to follow instructions and communicate with team members
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, based on experience
