Activities Assistant
Full-time (Non‑exempt)
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00
Schedule:
Sunday - Tuesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM;
Friday 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Job SummaryAssist in developing the resident activity programs of the community. Conduct activities under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator and carry out responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies.

Candidates must be able to confidently perform the following essential functions:
- Lead Physical Fitness Programming – comfortable planning and independently leading group fitness classes for older adults, including modifying exercises for varying mobility and ability levels.
- Drive Residents Safely for Outings – possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be able to transport residents using company vehicles for appointments, outings, and community excursions.
- Plan & Execute Engaging Activities – independently plan, organize, and facilitate a wide range of activities that meet the needs of residents across all levels of care (Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care).
- Adaptability Across Care Levels – modify programs and engagement approaches to support residents with diverse cognitive, physical, and emotional needs.
- Use of Technology for Programming & Communication – comfortable using technology platforms to support programming, including activity scheduling systems, digital calendars, communication tools, and basic audiovisual equipment.
- Event Execution & Follow‑Through – successfully carry out programs from start to finish, including setup, technology use, resident engagement, and post‑event cleanup.
- Team members who work 24 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits; families of those team members are also eligible.
