As a Sr. Systems Design Engineer, SSD Validation, you will develop and maintain the test automation infrastructure used to validate Enterprise Storage System interoperability. Working closely with test execution engineers and firmware developers, you will analyze and continuously improve test quality and efficiency. This role is based in Longmont, CO, surrounded by stunning landscapes and a vibrant community.
Responsibilities- Research and procure cutting-edge storage hardware platforms
- Characterize system behaviors to determine possible stimulus
- Design and implement cross-platform storage APIs to control system behavior
- Design and document test cases to validate SSD features, gross functions, and use cases
- Implement test case script logic via common automation framework
- Regress test designs for continuous improvement using a representative cross-section of systems
- Syntactic proficiency in Python, with a focus on Object‑Oriented Programming and Abstract Interfaces
- Working knowledge of AI Agents such as Tab Nine or Claude Code
- Ability to debug and perform Codegen workflows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex patterns through UML documentation that you build
- Knowledge of enterprise storage products and storage protocols
- Experience developing robust cross-platform infrastructure, including OS:
Windows/Linux/BSD and Architecture: x86/ARM - Understanding of test automation and methodologies, operating systems API, process controls, memory management, and device driver interactions
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- Intense curiosity about the nature of complex computing systems
- Established track record in building and managing test automation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to successfully implement test strategies in a competitive and ambitious environment
US base salary range: $98,000.00 - $ a year.
