Level 2 SW Engineer

Position Summary

Ground Software team is seeking a Level 2 Software Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support the FORGE C2 Mission Management team in translating a legacy product into a modern solution. You will work in a small agile team to take the product from design to delivery.

• Design, develop, maintain, and test the Mission Management codebase.
• Interact across agile teams to ensure interface compatibility.
• Coordinate with the product owner, scrum master, and product manager to plan user stories and ensure successful completion of tasks.
• Work through technical challenges to implement legacy capabilities in a modern architecture.

• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Java programming experience in a professional environment.
• Linux OS background and experience developing in a Linux environment.

• Previous experience with mission management.
• Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
• Mathematics background.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.

This position requires a US citizen and a TS/SCI clearance level. A government security clearance is mandatory.

Onsite, full‑time location. Schedule follows a 9x80 program with every other Friday off.
