Level 3 Software Engineer

About the Role

Ground Software team is seeking a Level 3 Software Engineer with a Secret clearance to support the FORGE C2 Mission Management team in translating a legacy product into a modern solution. This position will work in a small (5‑6 person) agile team in Longmont, CO to take the product from a designed solution to a delivered product.

• Design, develop, maintain, and test the Mission Management codebase.
• Interact across agile teams to ensure interface compatibility.
• Coordinate with the product owner, scrum master, and product manager to plan user stories and ensure successful completion of tasks.
• Work through technical challenges to implement legacy capabilities in a modern architecture.

• Actively hold a Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software design and development, with Java programming experience.
• Experience with Linux OS and development in a Linux environment.
• Experience with mission management.
• Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
• Strong mathematics background.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.

This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance level: TS/SCI. The role also requires a Secret clearance for consideration.
