Ground Software team is seeking a Level 4 Software Engineer with a Secret clearance to support the FORGE C2 program in translating a legacy product into a modern solution. This position will work in a small (5‑6 person) agile team to take the product from a designed solution to a delivered product.

• Design, develop, maintain, and test the codebase.
• Interact across agile teams to ensure interface compatibility.
• Coordinate with the product owner, scrum master, and product manager to plan user stories and ensure successful completion of the tasks.
• Lead the resolution of technical challenges to implement legacy capabilities in a modern architecture.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• BS degree (or equivalent).
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years of Java, C++, or C# programming experience in a professional environment.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Linux OS background / experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
• Strong mathematics background.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.

This position requires a government security clearance. The individual must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: TS/SCI.

Work schedule:

9x80 with every other Friday off.

Compensation:
Annual base salary range for California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C. is $113,900–$200,905. Additional in‑the‑market adjustments may apply based on location.
