Compensation

Pay range: $14.42 - $19.00. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed required minimum wage. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position also collects money on COD deliveries and picks up customer returns.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete daily inspections before operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at day end.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and assisting customers or serving as cashier when needed.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts (desired).
• Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages such as Spanish (desired).
