SummaryThe Material Handler is the primary person responsible for transferring inventory between SENS warehouse locations. The goal is to maintain approximately one to two weeks of parts in the factory warehouse and extra stock at the backup warehouse. The material handler works with the production department to identify needed transfers, creates transfer transactions in the Syte Line ERP system, physically loads and unloads parts between warehouses, and restocks the factory warehouse.
Responsibilities- Identify needed parts to transfer between warehouses (via Syteline system and production feedback).
- Locate needed parts in warehouse.
- Safely move parts using pallet jack or stand‑up forklift onto box truck.
- Unload truck and restock primary factory warehouse locations.
- Accurately update Syteline ERP system with receipts, transfers, and other information as needed.
- Act as backup receiver to receive incoming components.
- Inspect physical goods for accuracy against the packing list, identify damage, complete receiving in the ERP system, and shelve the parts.
- Assembly of electrical and mechanical components as required.
- Know and follow safety policies.
- Maintain clean and organized areas.
- Clearly communicate with production, shipping/receiving, and operations about any parts problems.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or material handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English as needed to perform the duties of the job.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, and take initiative.
- Customer‑focused team player with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Ability to drive 26 ft diesel box truck.
- Experience with inventory control and computer‑based inventory systems.
July 31st. The posting may be extended or closed earlier depending on applicant volume and hiring needs.
Base CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $22.50 an hour.
BonusThis position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
