We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse and Production Associate to join our team at our new location in Fremont, NE. In this position, you will support the warehouse and production operations by fulfilling orders, packaging manufactured products, storing/organizing inventory, and maintaining the workspace. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse and packaging equipment.

• Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for shipping
• Work with Production team to work on the bagging line
• Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Inspect shipments for any damages, defects, or errors
• General maintenance and upkeep of the facility
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

• High school diploma/GED is preferred
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred
• Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Warehousing techniques in the feed industry haven’t changed much in the last 40 years. Here at New Star, we’ve invested in state-of-the-art technology which will create a large efficiency and food safety gap between ourselves and our competition.

By utilizing VNA (very narrow aisle) infrastructure and installing heavy-duty racking up to 30 feet high, New Star will be able to maximize storage capacity while minimizing square footage, energy, and manpower. The efficient use of space allows that every pallet is aisle-facing and easy to access, thus ensuring first-in-first-out and a high level of pest control.
