Internship dates:
August 31st to December 18th, 2026.
Location:
The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.
Day-to-day responsibilities Report and communicate Engineering department travel expenses using SAP and Excel.
Perform journal entries in SAP at month‑end to reclass travel expenses to their correct cost center.
Record corporate plane travel expenses in SAP throughout each month.
Assist with month‑end reporting and monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting by running and communicating variance analysis reports.
Manage the team’s journal entry approval and completeness compliance at month‑end to support robust internal controls.
Develop automated standard reporting tools to identify variance drivers faster and increase communication efficiency to key decision makers.
Participate in the annual Sarbanes‑Oxley general testing process and in processes related to government obligations.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve problematic invoices in a timely manner.
Ensure invoices are coded to the correct cost centers.
Approve and monitor purchase order requisitions for engineering projects.
Manage the contractor time‑keeping system by creating new contractor profiles in SAP, ensuring proper access, and troubleshooting issues.
Continuously improve the efficiency of the above processes and ensure the robustness of associated procedures.
Provide general administrative and ad‑hoc support to the Engineering & Development Finance team.
Update Program Estimate at Completion (EAC) files and automate or improve them.
Perform Sustainable Aviation Government claims reporting.
Qualifications Be eligible to work in Canada.
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
Work on‑site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.
Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written).
Work‑level knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms from international organizations.
Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
