In this senior leadership role, you will collaborate with the Executive Director to direct operations aligned with the priorities set by VGFN Chief and Council. Your skills in financial, people, and proposal management will ensure compliance with legislation and effective programming delivery for VGFN Citizens. This role is vital in enhancing community services in health, education, justice, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee delivery of health, social, and community services
• Develop proposals and liaise with Council and committees
• Manage staff and evaluate departmental activities
• Oversee financial strategy and annual budget preparation
• Represent VGFN at negotiations and official functions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 15+ years of leadership experience in community services
• 5+ years in finance oversight and policy management
• Stakeholder management experience in government
• Leadership in Indigenous organizations preferred
