Arcadis est à la recherche d’un(e) Technicien ou Technicienne en environnement de terrain minutieux(euse), bien organisé(e) et fiable pour se joindre à notre équipe au bureau de Longueuil, Québec. Il s'agit d'une opportunité pour une personne dynamique à la recherche d’une opportunité dans une firme de consultants en environnement. Les candidats doivent aussi bien travailler en équipe que de manière indépendante et soutenir un milieu de travail sain en matière de santé et de sécurité.

Ce poste à temps plein requiert une attention particulière aux détails, une solide éthique de travail et d’excellentes compétences analytiques. Le(la) candidat(e) retenu(e) sera responsable de la collecte de données sur le terrain, l'échantillonnage des sols et la préparation des rapports journaliers et l’analyse et l’interprétation de données environnementales. Ce poste est pour un emploi à l'extérieur.

• Collecte de données sur le terrain et l'échantillonnage des sols.
• Supervision des activités de chantier et coordination avec les intervenants et les sous-traitants.
• Réalisation de travaux de description de sol et d’échantillonnage de sol, rédaction des rapports journaliers et des notes de terrain.
• Analyse et interprétation des données environnementales.
• Application du programme de santé et de sécurité.
• Exécution de toute autre tâche connexe pouvant aider à la réalisation du projet.

Arcadis is seeking a meticulous, well-organized, and reliable Environmental Field Technician to join our team in Longueuil, Quebec. Candidates must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and support a safe and healthy work environ ment. This full‑time position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent analytical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for field data collection, soil sampling, preparing daily reports, and analyzing and interpreting environmental data. This position requires work outdoors.

• Field data collection and soil sampling.
• Oversee site activities and coordinate with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Conduct soil descriptions and sampling, prepare daily reports and field notes.
• Analyze and interpret data.
• Implement the health & safety program.
• Perform any other related tasks that contribute to project complet ion.

• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Hold a valid ASP Construction card.
• Technical qualification in environmental studies or a related field, or field experience in the characterization and remediation of contaminated sites.

• Excellent knowledge of French and knowledge of English (an asset).
• Adaptability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness, and ability to work outdoors on construction and operational sites.
• Initiative, organization, attention to detail, responsibility, and autonomy.
• Availability for frequent travel across Quebec.

Salary range: $56,000–$84,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
