Sandvik is seeking a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Underground) to join their Field Service team. With the opportunity for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package, this position focuses on the repair and maintenance of mining equipment. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting while ensuring safety practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment performance and identify malfunctions

• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts as needed

• Test repaired equipment to verify performance

• Commission new mining equipment at customer sites

• Maintain accurate records and participate in safety trainings

Requirements:

• Relevant trade certification; red seal preferred

• Minimum 3 years of experience with mining equipment

• Proficiency in hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Strong communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
