We are seeking a Concrete Paving Superintendent in overseeing plant operations, including but not limited to maintenance, production, inventory control, safety, quality, environmental compliance. The Concrete Paving Superintendent oversees the daily operations of concrete paving projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This position manages crews, coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensures compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and DOT/local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all phases of concrete paving operations, including subgrade prep, formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, finishing, curing, and jointing.
• Direct and manage field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
• Schedule materials, equipment, and labor to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ensure worksite safety and compliance with OSHA, company policies, and DOT requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients for scheduling, inspections, and progress updates.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor and maintain equipment performance and proper usage on-site.

Preferred

Certifications:

• OSHA 30 Certification
• DOT or State-specific certifications (if applicable)
