Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team at Cargo
. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth seating process. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and walk‑ins, ensuring efficient seating and table rotation.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate wait times to guests accurately and professionally.
• Assist in answering phone calls, taking reservations, and providing restaurant information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
• Assist with light cleaning and setup as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a host or customer service role is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and friendly attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
