About The Role

Guaranty Bank & Trust is looking for a Full‑Time Teller/New Accounts Representative who will support both teller and new account functions to enhance our customers’ banking experience. The role combines cash handling, customer service, account opening, and community outreach in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

• Handle cash transactions, verify negotiable instruments and identify counterfeit currency or fraudulent checks.
• Balance ATMs, drawer activities, and daily cash totals.
• Consolidate and reconcile daily transactions.
• Process deposits, loan payments, cash checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks.

• Build customer relationships, uncover financial needs, and recommend appropriate products.
• Open consumer and business accounts.
• Own the customer experience from onboarding through issue resolution.
• Engage in outbound sales activities, including local business meetings and community events.
• Refer customers to loan, mortgage, treasury, or investment specialists as needed.
• Follow up with new customers via phone to ensure satisfaction.

• Engage customers in the lobby and on the phone to assist with self‑service transactions.
• Maintain customer confidentiality in accordance with privacy policies.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and company policies.
• Complete required regulatory compliance training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• High school degree or higher – required.
• Minimum 1 year of teller or new accounts experience – preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and cash‑handling experience – required.

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:15 am – 5:15 pm
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm
• Fridays (rotating): 7:45 am – 4:45 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Location closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Guaranty Bank & Trust – Longview, TX. Must live within 45 minutes of 200 West Hawkins Parkway, Longview, TX 75605.

Employees will sit, use hands in repetitive motions, and occasionally stand, walk, and lift. Should be able to use routine office equipment, operate a computer for 6‑8 hours daily, work extended hours or travel off‑site as needed, and climb or descend stairs during emergencies.

Starting salary varies by experience and location. Paid time off accrues at 0.0745 hours per hour worked for part‑time employees and up to 240 hours/year for some full‑time employees. Full‑time staff receive 6 paid holidays;

part‑time staff receive pro‑rated holidays. Some employees may qualify for additional state‑recognized holiday pay.
