Architectural Technician

• Professional experience using AutoCAD / Revit Drafting Programs
• Proficient in AutoCAD / Revit construction documentation drawings and data entry skills
• Self-driven, professional, high-energy and receptive to learning on the job and growing into role
• Knowledge of Sketch-Up or similar software is a plus, but not a requirement
• Minimum 2 years experience in a CAD Operator role
• Construction Industry experience a huge plus
• Good communication skills, comprehension, willingness to learn

• Diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings to scale in accordance with clients’ requests
• Responsible for creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and site visits
• Mathematical, geometrical and minor engineering computation
• Detailed design drawings and related specifications in accordance with Architectural sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to determine design factors
• File drawings, maintain standards data, and perform other routine drawing functions as required. Systematically saving sketches and drawings on company server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
• Review and check drawings for errors before being sent to architects, subcontractors, project managers, etc.
