• Thursday – Monday, 7 am – 7 am (24hr shift), 4 – 7 day blocks
• In-house call — 30-minute response time required
• Avg 15 patients per shift, approx 3 admissions per 24hr period
• Critical care — rounding on new and existing patients required
• Burn, trauma, surgical, and medical critical care patients treated
• Required:
  
  PA catheter, IABP, temp pacemaker, ICP mgmt, dialysis cath
• Ongoing coverage potential — multiple blocks with recurring monthly need
