Hematopathologist W/Surgical Pathology Longview, TX
We are seeking a full time Hematopathologist with surgical pathology to join a community hospital-based practice in Longview, Texas. For 2025, surgical pathology case volume was approximately 14,000 cases; non-gyn cytology cases were around 1,100. The practice consists of seven pathologists covering the largest community hospital network in Northeastern Texas. The hospital sees a wide variety of hematopathology and solid tumor cases including head & neck, GYN, breast, lung, GI, and GU.
Requirements:
- Board certification in AP or AP/CP with preferred subspecialty training in surgical and/or cytopathology.
- Candidates with hematopathology, GYN, or GI/liver expertise will be given special consideration.
- Experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must possess a medical degree and be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
- Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a strong work ethic centered on being a team player.
