Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry

SCHEDULE

Fall semester lab sections meet one day a week and are scheduled in the morning or afternoon.

LeTourneau University invites applications for adjunct faculty members qualified to teach General Chemistry I and/or Biochemistry I laboratories for the 2025/26 academic year. Classes are in a face‑to‑face setting on the LeTourneau University campus located in Longview, Texas. The adjunct will be invited to teach one or more sections based upon schedule and availability. LeTourneau University seeks an innovative, dynamic, student‑focused instructor to join a growing program in Chemistry.

We are looking for a chemist to conduct laboratory instruction conforming to best practices, including those for safety.

• The preferred candidate has at least a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Alternately, candidates with at least eighteen graduate hours in Chemistry or related courses, combined with previous lab experience, may also apply.
