The position is a full‑time, 9‑month, tenure‑track faculty position for fall and spring semesters, with the possibility of summer school and online teaching. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but may include some evening classes, independent studies, as well as some online responsibilities. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events.
Position DescriptionResponsibilities include creating and offering classroom and laboratory‑based courses within the recently launched Construction Management degree program, appropriate scholarship in Construction Management or a related field, assisting the program Chair in the program accreditation process, advising students, and serving on various university committees. Teaching duties include undergraduate teaching in the various Construction Management courses as well as other areas of competency.
Teaching responsibilities may include both on‑site and online delivery methods.

- Strong commitment to undergraduate Construction Management education with emphasis on hands‑on instruction and practical application.
- Wide range of courses coverage and broad area of experience and skills is desired.
- Master’s or PhD degree in Construction Management, engineering, business or construction‑related field from an accredited program.
- Professional experience in the field of Construction Management highly desired but not required.
- Certification and/or licensure within Construction Management, Construction, or Engineering related fields considered but not required.
- Candidates from broad backgrounds encouraged to apply and will be considered based upon their potential as instructors and mentors within an undergraduate educational program.
