Engineering Manager, NPPD

Overview

This full‑time role in Longview, TX, involves overseeing the design and development of new products and processes, particularly in the assembly and manufacturing of wheel‑end components.

• Lead the development process for wheel‑end product lines, ensuring continuous improvement from concept to commercialization.
• Establish and track program goals, ensuring effective planning and scheduling of resources.
• Report on program progress, communicating risks, opportunities, and project status against milestones.
• Collaborate with commercial teams, customers, and industry organizations to gather input for new product/process pipelines.
• Manage and develop team talent using development plans and evaluation tools.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical credentials.
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical supervisory role, with experience in creating department vision and hiring talent.
• 5 years of project management experience in new product/process development.
• Experience in supplier evaluation and following quality standards for product/process releases.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
