Civil/Water Resources Engineer (EIT or PE)
Role Overview
Design and support municipal water and wastewater projects, including utilities, pump stations, treatment plants, drainage, and site development. Produce accurate design drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, contribute to project management tasks, and grow into project ownership.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications- Design civil and water resources projects (water, wastewater, utilities, pump stations, treatment plants, drainage, and site development)
- Produce design drawings with AutoCAD/Civil 3D at own workstation
- Provide project management support: client meetings, field visits, troubleshooting, and conceptual planning as skills develop
- Apply engineering principles to real‑world municipal water/wastewater projects and deliver accurate design drawings
- Support senior engineer in on‑time project delivery and contribute to the firm’s $90M+ construction portfolio
- 5–7 years of experience preferred; EIT acceptable, PE preferred
- Hands‑on design experience with municipal water/wastewater projects required; internship or field construction background strong plus
- Experience transitioning from design into project management is a bonus
