Job DescriptionYou will provide daily management support for covenant compliance testing for commercial clients, along with monitoring borrowing base certificates related to asset-based line management and documentation imaging.
Duties and Responsibilities- Administer the loan agreement covenant compliance monitoring system by reviewing and interpreting confidential financial statements, tax returns, and supporting schedules for covenant tests bank-wide.
- Ensure loan agreements are accurate and compliant with approved CAS/ACAS, addressing and processing any deviations appropriately.
- Identify and resolve covenant violations in collaboration with the Relationship Manager to ensure appropriate credit risk ratings.
- Monitor asset-based lines of credit for compliance with funding definitions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate with the Relationship Manager, borrowers, and accountants to resolve any Borrowing Base Certificate discrepancies.
- Alert the Relationship Manager of collateral shortfalls and track the resolution within the required time frames.
- Prepare borrowing base reports for exceptions meetings and adjust RLOC availability as needed.
- Support proper documentation tracking for bank-wide asset-based lines of credit.
- Assist the Manager with special projects, including engaging an Approved Asset-Based field auditor for pre-funding audits.
- Propose new procedures to enhance efficiency in existing processes.
- Track policy exceptions identified on the approved CAS.
- Assist in training and developing new relationship managers and credit analysis team members in credit reviews and covenant processes.
- Support the Covenant Compliance Department in achieving department objectives.
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

To perform this role successfully, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; two to three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of federal/state banking regulations and lending practices.
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel; familiarity with bank-specific software is desirable.
