Code Enforcement Officer

Aoka is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to perform field inspections and enforce municipal ordinances on an as-needed basis. This is a part-time, on-call position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work volume may vary based on contract assignments

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Code Enforcement
• Registered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas required
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehicles
• Issue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the public
• Document case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in Vertex Plans
• Prepare and present cases for Municipal Court or administrative hearings, providing testimony as required
• Prepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company procedures

• $30 – $40 per hour, based on experience and certifications
• Part-Time, On-Call — Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client need
