Salary Range: $42,500 – $43,880
We are seeking a dedicated Program Director (PD) to support our Texas ICF group homes. This leadership role oversees program operations, staff, and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, compassionate, and comfortable stepping into the homes when needed to ensure continuity of care.
Your RoleAs Program Director, you will manage a caseload of approximately 24 individuals and provide oversight across up to four ICF residential homes. This position requires regular travel to assigned homes; mileage is reimbursed.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of one to four ICF programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services
Overseeing direct supports, person-centered planning, healthcare coordination, advocacy, and stakeholder relationships
Ensuring regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality assurance
Recruiting, training, scheduling, and retaining program staff
Conducting performance evaluations and making recommendations related to hiring, promotions, corrective action, and terminations
Managing staffing needs, including being on-call and covering shifts or working in the group homes when necessary
Monitoring service delivery to ensure supports are engaging, relevant, and aligned with individual goals
Overseeing financial management and maintenance of the physical environment
Bachelor’s degree required (mandatory for this role)
Experience in the Human Services or IDD field
ICF experience preferred but not required
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between group homes
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, responsible, and compassionate leadership style
